TitleDraft schedule for Gamlingay tithe apportionment
DescriptionArranged in numerical instead of alphabetical order, with some differences in the manner of owners and occupiers and in the amount of tithe payable. Additional columns set out the area in decimal parts of an acre, the price per acre in shillings, the value in shillings and the tithe payable in shillings (calculated on a bsis of one fifth for arable, one ninth for grass and one tenth for wood). Of the two figures for tithe payable the first is less than that in the apportionment [dated 1850] while the second is more. [Paper watermarked 1841].
