Copy of Deed of Trust of £700 three per cent consolidated bank annuities for securing an annuity of £20 to Mrs Rachel Jackson, 6 September 1838, including extract from codicil of Ann Mortlock's will in which she bequeaths annuity to her former servant, who 'after an almost uninterrupted service of eighteen years has fallen into a state of mental and bodily health and dejection of mind which have required her removal from my service', with memorandum and fragment of accounts (wrapped in sheet of newsprint from the Cambridge Chronicle and Journal and the Hunts Gazette 6 October 1838);
Letter, Rachel Jackson, at Mr James Studd, Rendham, Suffolk, to Thomas Mortlock asking if her forthcoming marriage will affect her annuity, 30 October 1851, with a copy of his reply assuring her the annuity is for life regardless of whether she is single or married, 1 November 1851;
Letter (not part of original bundle) from Rachel Studd (married name of Rachel Jackson) at Rendham [to Thomas Mortlock] thanking him for five pounds payment, 12 July 1854;
Sheet of accounts, showing payments until Rachel Jackson's death in 1858, 1838-58.
