DescriptionReverend John Benward Travers married Caroline Mortlock, daughter of Captain Charles Mortlock, in 1834. Thomas Mortlock was one of the trustees of the marriage settlement but wished in 1852 to be released.

a) Envelope annotated 'Revd J.B.Travers, Mrs Travers. Settlements in charge of G Kieckhoeffer Esq from November 1849'. Containing correspondence relating transfer of box containing marriage settlement from Mr Groom to Mr Kieckhoefer:
Letter from Revd J.B. Travers, Mumby Vicarage, to Thomas Mortlock, relating to pecuniary difficulties of Mr Groom of Henrietta Street, who has custody of box containing his marriage settlement, and suggesting the box should be transferred to his cousin Mr Kieckhoefer of 50 Threadneedle Street, 26 September 1849, with reply from Charles Mortlock junior on behalf of his uncle, Cambridge, 29 September 1849;
