c) Two receipts from Richard Rose to his mother Mrs Mary Harrison for money she has received for him, 1774-1775;
d) Letter from Robert White, attorney at law, Cambridge, to Richard Rose, with advice about sale of part of his estates for an annuity, with part draft reply, 5 February 1777;
e) Letter from Robert White, Cambridge, to Richard Rose, Dalkeith, regarding dispute with John Mortlock over payment of part of Robert White's bill, and Comberton estate, 21 October 1777, with draft reply in which Rose says he is done disputing with Mortlock and intends never to write to him any more;
f) Letter from Robert White, Cambridge, to Richard Rose, Dundee, with advice for writing a will, 24 March 1778;
g) Letter from Mr White, Cambridge, to Richard Rose, Calne, Wiltshire, with text of sale particulars for auction of property at Comberton (messuage, barn, 14 acres of pasture with groveage, and 110 acres arable, meadow and feeding ground, currently let to Richard Baker) and a farm at Dry Drayton (farmhouse, two farmyards with barns, stables, dovehouses and other convenient buildings, 16 Acres of pasture, 6 acres of sweard and 180 acres of arable land, currently let to Michael Brand), 12 June 1778;
h) Receipt for £18 4s from Mr Turner and J. French, 17 July 1778;
i) Letter from John Mortlock, Cambridge, to Richard Rose, about his account, the re-establishment of his health, and his desire to see him in Cambridge, 20 December 1782, with copy of account and draft reply;
j) Draft letter from Richard Rose to his aunt Finch [his mother's sister Elizabeth Day who married Joshua Finch, alderman of Cambridge] accepting his aunt's offer to settle the account between him and John and Elizabeth Mortlock, telling her he has left his lodging at Wincanton and taken a house at Chard, Somerset, with news of his illness, bills to pay at Chard, and 'copy of a letter to my Sister I did not send' about his account, n.d [1783];
k) Draft letter from Richard Rose to unnamed recipient [possibly his cousin E. Finch - see letter l] relating to trusteeship of his annuity and safekeeping of his will, January 1783;
l) Letter from Robert White, Cambridge, to Richard Rose, relating to need for new trustee for his annuity following death of Mr Harrison, 21 January 1783, with on same sheet letter signed E. Finch and addressed to 'My Dear Cousin' saying his will would be better in the hands of his sister, 22 January 1873, and draft reply nominating William Tucker of Chard as new trustee for his annuity;
m) Letter from William Tucker, Chard, to Mrs Alderman Finch [Richard Rose's aunt Elizabeth Finch] relating to sale of Richard Rose's cornetcy by Nathaniel Collyer [army agent], a visit to Dr Cotton at St Albans to enquire after Richard Rose's welfare, and defending the people of Chard who had not approved of Richard Rose's intended marriage, 9 December 1784 9 (torn);
n) Receipt from John Mortlock to Mrs Finch for discharge of Richard Rose's debts at Chard, Somerset, 7 May 1785;
o) Five receipts for quit rents, Rectory Manor of Comberton and Manor of Comberton Green, 1785-1798.
