TitleIvy Lodge
DescriptionMemorandum, on a fragment of letter addressed to Thomas Mortlock, annotated 'Measurement of Closes Ivy Lodge T. Speed', with acreages of mowing grass on another fragment.
Ivy Lodge is another Mortlock house, on the Linton Road, considerably smaller than Abington Lodge. The High Street and Linton Road form a right-angle, with the village shop on the corner; the gardens of both lodges run back and complete the square, there having been private access via this route between the two houses during the period of Mortlock ownership.
