Thomas Mortlock to John Ewin of Great Abington farmer. Annual rent £432 for 8 years and £450 for the last 4 years. Includes agricultural arrangements (the 4 course system) and a condition of sowing 60a cinquefoil along Worsted Way [the Roman road].

a) rough a agreement for the same, [though acreage is 540] mentioning the 4 course system of husbandry, the demolishing of the present buildings and erection of suitable new house and buildings, 9 August 1824.
b) note about the lease addressed to Thomas Mortlock from Frederick Randall marked 'Grange Farm' [1824].
c) two memoranda, one with sketch of land to be taken by Mr Mortlock, c. 1840. Both on letter fragments addressed to Thomas Mortlock at Bancroft Lodge.
d) receipt from Frederick Randall for loan of lease, n.d.
