TitleFeoffment of parcel of manor of Landwade (bounds described in detail).
DescriptionTo indemnify John Chircheman for recognition of £240 given for liveries to John Hodem and other things for which Walter Sibyle, citizen and stock-fishmonger of London, was under obligation, on account of which Walter had agreed to feoffment of whole manor with its lands and tenements in Landwade, Burwell, Fordham and Snailwell by Thomas Taylour vicar of Soham (to whom with Robert Stinham, chaplain, deceased, he had previously it) to Chircheman with William Fak, and also Edmund Olyver, citizen of London and Roger Perens record of St Michael Crooked Lane, both deceased, with covenant to re-enfeoff his widow, Margaret , should he die, having indemnified himself by sale of part of manor. John Chircheman, citizen and grocer of London, and William Fak, vicar of [Great] Coggeshall, Essex ('Coksale') to James de Billyngford, William Champeneys Williamson of Richard Grace and Robert Norwych. Witnesses: Pain Typtot, knight, John Danyel, Robert Bernard, William Sybylle, William Wygenhaler, John Kyrkeby, John Lelye, John Wilkyn, Thomas Neketon, John Syre. 2 red seals with monogram devices.
