DescriptionIncluding genealogy of Cotton family of 'Connington', copy of inquisition of forest bounds between Huntingdonshire and Cambridgeshire [1244], loan list of books lent from his library in 1604, and (at back) draft forms of address to recalcitrant borrowers, including Robert Cecil, Earl of Salisbury. (The volume is stamped with Robert Cotton's pressmark and is bound with fragments of a 13th or 14th century religious work. cf 588/Z10(h) where noted that in 1871 the volume was in the possession of William Charles Smith of Shortgrove (Essex)).
