DescriptionThese records do not constitute the actual faculties for alterations to a church but rather the intimations required as part of the process of granting a faculty. Intimations were sent out by the Archdeacon's Registrar to be posted publicly in the event of an objection being raised, and were then returned to the Archdeaconry. The first element in the description given below records the name of the parish in which the church was to be altered
