DescriptionThe dispute over the registrarship centrally involved Duling Salmon's refusal to hand over the seal and registers to his putative successor Simon Michael. It is described in outline in the Transactions of the Huntingdonshire and Cambridgeshire Archaeological Society, volume IV (Minster Press, Ely, 1930) p. 167. Although each paper within the series is a separate entity, readers are recommended to request the complete records for consultation. Where the exact contents of a paper have not been able to be ascertained it has been described simply as 'case paper'.
