TitleAct of Court of William Lord Bishop of Lincoln at which Robert Hanbury Rector of Hemingford Abbots was accused by William Maxey gentleman of 'excessive drinking, irreverent Reading of and curtailing the Service of the Church', etc. Hanbury acknowledged the charge and was admonished by Bishop to take care to avoid any scandal for the future. This is entered in the bishop register 36 fol. 44 held at Lincolnshire Archives. Wednesday, 23 April 1703. At Buckden Palace.
