DescriptionThese records consist of a combination of citations and intimations, arranged in a manner preserving their original order. The intimations are more numerous after 1750, and consist of an 'intimation in the effects of' a deceased person, recording that the will or administration of the deceased person will be proven at the archdeaconry court. The citations record that a case will take place, naming the judge, day and place of court, the man cited and the accusation he is to answer. They are addressed to the officiating minister of the parish, and returned by him to the court.
