DescriptionDeclaring the custom of the Manor of Chesterton. (a) Procedure for holding manorial courts. (b) Rents, fines, amercements and steward's fees fixed. (c) Right of tenants to let their copyholds and to take willow, &c from the common fen. (d) Regulations for Lord's ferry. (e) Tenants' rights of grazing on common. Lord not to overload same. (f) Administration of town lands. For his agreement to said Articles tenants paid to Lord £160 and surrendered rights of common over: Lord Alberidge alias King's Hedge Close of 34 acres. Harbenough alias Earthborow Great Church Croft; Vicars Meadow alias Out Meadows. 13 November 1577. Copy of Rental of Chesterton. Total £11 18s 2¼d. 25 March 1585. 19th century copies.
