DescriptionPhotograph of a pre-inclosure sketch map of roads in Melbourn. This map is a simplified version of a map of the Lordship Farm Estate (R78/39) which was dated some years after it was made c.1834, but shows little more than roads and paths in the open fields. A further copy of it (R112/048, cropped and mounted on card) has an annotation suggesting it may have been connected to the inclosure process. Both are copies made originally in the University Library in 1939 and is probably the photograph map catalogued there as 'pre-inclosure map of Melbourn, n.d.' (UL Plans 621).
