TitleProceedings of the Society of Adventurers, 1646 - 1649
Description"Volume 1", containing the proceedings [minutes] of the Society of Adventurers. It includes minutes of the Committee for the Fens prior to the "Pretended Act" and negotiations with Cornelius Vermuyden in 1649. These are transcribed and expanded from the minutes recorded in R59/31/9/3. Also contains a loose alphabetical index of the topics discussed. It is bound in part of an exemplification of the letters patent granted to Robert Cooke, creating him Clarencieux King of Arms.
