Contains a schedule of the land in Witcham, Ely, Witchford, Wentworth, Coveney, Downham and Welney cut to build the new Cradge Bank; the award of Richard Orton, James Custance and John Woodward, relating to the compensation to be paid for floors of earth cut from the Ouse Washes; the petition of Hugh Robert Evans and several owners of lands in the Ouse Washes, asking for compensation for their loss; claims from owners and occupiers of lands in the Ouse Washes [for compensation]; a case as to whether the Bedford Level Corporation has the right to take floors of earth without paying compensation, together with the opinions of John Williams; the report of a Committee about compensation for lands cut for Corporation banks; bills of expenses; receipts; certificates; minutes; notes and correspondence.
