DescriptionInventories of the books, papers deeds and other goods in the Fen Office. Contains a schedule of the records and evidence held at Mr Fountayne's house in Old Boswell Court, 1654; an inventory of the Corporation "writings" in the custody of the Surveyor General, circa 1680s; a schedule of the books and deeds in the Fen Office, circa 1740s; a schedule of the other goods in the Fen Office, 1742; an account of the books in the Fen Office c. 1747; an inventory of the books, papers and deeds in the Fen Office, 1756, and a particular of grants belonging to the Bedford Level Corporation. Also contains a copy of "Laws, Ordinances and Decrees", 1666.
