DescriptionBundle of "Annual Reports" and "Answers to Queries", containing the responses of Corporation Officers Joseph Clemenson (for 1816-1817), William Granger (for 1816), John Little (for 1815-1829), Joseph Little (for 1814-1829), John Owen (for 1818-1829), Joseph Sedgeley (for 1826-1829), William Seers (for 1818-1825), [John] Smith (for 1815) and Hugh Wandby (for 1815-1816). These informed the Superintendent General of issues that had arisen in the previous year in the individual districts of the Bedford Level, work that had been carried out and any works that needed to be done in the future. Also contains [Robert] Smart's inventory of materials in 1783; [John] Freeman and [Francis] Drake's inventories of materials in 1813; Francis Drake, Mr Langford, [John] Little, [Joseph] Little and [Thomas] Nix's inventories of materials in 1814; an estimate of the likely cost of repairing Denver Sluice; Joseph Little's inventory of materials in the warehouses at Denver Sluice and Oxlode in 1817; John Little's annual report for 1822; Joseph Little's report about the sluices in the River Cam, 1822; a specification for cottages; a schedule of the lands floored in the Wash in 1824; a report of encroachments, April 1825; Joseph Sedgeley's report about the state of public houses and cottages in 1825; Joseph Little and Joseph Sedgeley's report about the state of public houses, 1826; Mr Dyson's annual reports, 1826-1829, and correspondence.
