DescriptionBundle of miscellaneous draft papers, many concerning the lease or assignment of the residue unexpired in lease of Corporation premises or the conveyance of Adventurers' lands. Contains memorandums of agreement with Matthew Robinson, Thomas Moore, Robert Clough, William Groom, Reverend George Steer, Francis Ibberson, Reverend Thomas Jones, to purchase invested lands in the Bedford Level; a draft lease to the inhabitants of Over, of the Over Barrier Bank between Crane Fen Bar and Over Lode; a copy of an order to view the Bedford Level; an assignment of six bonds to the Duke of Bedford; schedules of the fisheries late in lease to Mrs Beck Jenyns which were let in 1781, the premises late in lease to Dingley Askham which were let in 1787, the premises late in lease to Sir Thomas Hatton which were let in 1791 and the premises late in lease to James Bird which were let in 1798; a list of the public houses let in 1804; and correspondence. This bundle is incorrectly labelled "Sutton Wash Bridge and Embankments, 1826".
