This case was part of Samuel Wells' personal papers, as his wife Jane had inherited a share of John Richard's estate and Samuel Wells acted as a trustee. Contains copies of the draft legal brief, together with the opinions of George Nathanial Best and Godfrey Sykes; two copies of the bond between Reverend William Palmer, John Richards, and Robert Denn for £875, and correspondence.
