DescriptionBundle of papers printed by Messrs Mills and Son between 1845-1846, many of which concerning the clauses and provisos to be inserted in proposed legislation to protect the rights of the Corporation. Contains "General Clauses relative to the Several Lines of Railway crossing or affecting the drainage and navigation of the Bedford Level"; a composite document [probably for review by the Board], containing lists of the members of the Board and existing committees, clauses proposed to be inserted in the Willingham Inclosure and Drainage Bill, Ely and Lincoln, and Cambridge and Lincoln Railway Bill and the Norfolk Estuary Bill, the resolutions of the Corporation of Wisbech, a printed letter from Tycho Wing and a report about the East Coast Mainline; "Railway and Other Bills Affecting the Bedford Level"; "Clause relative to the several Lines of Railway crossing or interfering with the Drainage or Navigation of the Bedford Level, or Rivers adjacent"; and "Clause as to Expenses incurred in Parliamentary Proceedings on Railway Bills". Also contains Messrs Mills and Son's bill of costs for printing documents for the Corporation in 1845-1846.
