DescriptionEighty nine volumes, containing the proceedings [minutes] of the Bedford Level Corporation. These volumes fall into three series - Corporation Orders (BLC2/3/3), recording meetings held in London between 1663-1808; Conservators' Proceedings (BLC2/3/4), recording meetings held in Ely between 1665-1809, and the Proceedings of the Bedford Level Corporation (BLC2/3/5), recording meetings held between 1809-1920. The Corporation Orders and Conservators' Proceedings run concurrently, and should be used together to gain a full understanding of the annual activities of the Bedford Level Corporation.
