TitlePetition of Several Owners and Occupiers of Land in the Middle Level
DescriptionThe petitioners report that the banks of Tong's Drain have been in a very bad condition since part of the bank gave way last winter. They also report that Popham's Eau has not been scoured for several years. They ask for the Bedford Level Corporation's surveyor to view Tong's Drain and Popham's Eau, and to prepare a report and estimate for their repair. Eighty nine signatories.
