TitleLetter from Samuel Wells, Clerk to the Middle Level River Commissioners
DescriptionLetter to Robert Bevill, informing him that the drainage of the Middle Level is being injured by boats navigating up the dike in Ramsey Turf Fen. He reports that the River Nene is now blocked up with silt, and that it will cost the Middle Level Commissioners almost £100 to clear the stops. He also asks for the River Nene to be scoured out between Stanground Sluice and Stanground. One signatory.
