DescriptionThe petitioner made an agreement with the Bedford Level Corporation in 1816 that they should take all the gault which remained on the dug up part of Roswell Hill, and also from the corner of Brick Kiln Ground, Kirby's Close and Cropley's Close. He reports that they have taken more gault than the agreement allowed. He asks for the Corporation to honour their agreement, and for the £124:7s:6d which they promised to pay. He also asks for compensation for additional land taken. One signatory. Also contains a further memorial, for permission to claim the sum of interest due on the £124:7s:6d. One signatory.
