DescriptionThe petitioner married Sarah Roberts, widow of Robert Godfrey, the late sluice keeper at Denver Sluice. He is possessed of a house on the Hundred Foot Bank near the old sluice at Denver Dam, which has been leased to Ralph Pierson and Daniel Green at a cost of £3 a year. He reports that three years rent remains unpaid, in addition to half a year's salary owed to Robert Godfery at the time of his death and also half a year's salary owed to Sarah Roberts for looking after the sluices after his death. He asks for these to be paid as soon as possible. No signatory
