TitlePetition of Several of the Inhabitants of March
DescriptionThe petitioners represent that floodwater cannot drain from their fen lands and severals in March, as the River Nene is overgrown and the water levels kept high by the several water engines nearby. They ask for the River Nene to be made deeper and for the navigation to be improved. They also ask for Popham's Eau to be scoured, and for permission to run the waters through Tong's Drain at all times. Twenty three signatories.
