TitlePetition of Several Owners and Occupiers of Land of Burnt Fen
DescriptionThe petitioners wish to improve the drainage of Burnt Fen, but would also need to drain an additional 6,000 acres of invested land at the same time. They ask the Bedford Level Corporation to join with them, and report that they are willing to raise an equal and proportional acre tax. If this is not possible, then some of them are willing to drain it at their own expense. Twenty five signatories.
