TitlePetition of Bartholomew Ibbott, stepfather of James Smith
DescriptionThe petitioner's stepson James Smith inherited 21 acres of Adventurers' lands in Ramsey from his father William Smith. He (Ibbott) inadvertently failed to pay the taxes due on it, and ten acres were sold by the Corporation to Owen Fann, who now refuses to sell it back to him. He asks for the land not to be conveyed to Owen Fann, as there will then be no remedy for the infant. No signatory.
