TitlePetition of Certain Commissioners Appointed for Draining Fen Land between the Hundred Foot River and the River Ouse
DescriptionThe petitioners have resolved to erect 7 water engines, and ask for permission to lay 4 tunnels through the west bank of the River Ouse and 3 tunnels through the Hundred Foot Bank. They also ask for permission to erect one of these water engines on the foreland of the Hundred Foot Bank near Sutton Leys. Thirteen signatories.
