DescriptionVolume containing schedules of the bonds issued by the Bedford Level Corporation to raise funds for the Middle and South Levels. Contains an alphabetical list of bond owners in 1813, when the sinking fund was established; a particular of the bonds issued prior to 1813, together with details of who received the interest and when the bond was eventually paid off; a particular of the new series of bonds issued in 1825; and additional entries as to the assignment and inheritance of bonds.
