Contains schedules of lands in Leverington, Wisbech St Mary and St Peter, Whittlesey, Stanground and Peterborough affected by the proposals in the 1852 Bill; "Heads of a Bill for Amending the Acts relating to the Navigation of the River Nene"; extracts from the minutes of proceedings of the 1854 Bill before Sir John Pakington; draft instructions concerning the Bedford Level Corporations' petition against the 1857 Bill; the draft petition of the Corporation against the 1857 Bill; the legal brief for the Corporation, against the 1857 Bill; the Admiralty's report on the 1862 Bill; draft observations about Stanground Sluice and Broadwater; additional evidence given in 1862; and draft clauses and provisos. Also contains "Copies of Reports on the Several Matters in Difference" and "Copies of Orders on the Several Matters in Difference", concerning a disagreement between the Bedford Level Corporation and the Middle Level Commissioners about one of the Middle Level Drainage and Navigation Acts.
