Contains a notice of application to Parliament in "The Lynn Advertiser" on 15 November 1851; statement and observations; supplemental observations; evidence and proofs; the evidence given by James Bradfield Saunders Bradfield and Isambard Kingdom Brunel; instructions given to Mr Brunel, on the part of the Bedford Level Corporation; instructions for cross-examination of witnesses in support of the [1857] Bill; evidence given by Edward Fellowes; the petition of the Corporation against the 1862 Bill; the petition of several of the Commissioners and owners of Adventurers' lands, asking to dispense with standing order no. 109; draft clauses and provisos, and the Solicitor's bill of expenses for opposing the 1862 Bill.
