| Description | Two volumes, containing Charles Nalson Cole's report about the condition of Shire Drain. Shire Drain was cut between Clow's Cross and Tydd St Giles during the "First Undertaking", and was probably an enlargement of an existing drain. This report was presented to the Bedford Level Corporation at their annual Whitsun Meeting held at the Fen Office, London, on 20 May 1777. |
