DescriptionThe majority of the records of the Unreformed Corporation were listed by Dr WM Palmer and EAB Barnard in 1929. There original list has been made available via this collection catalogue. A number of items featured within this original list have been re-catalogued and included in series of records forming part of CB/2 Records of the Municipal Borough of Cambridge, 1835-1974. In particular it was considered desirable to preserve the original series of the Lease books which survive as a continual sequence from 1558-1972. Where records have been re-catalogued both the old and new references are recorded.
