Title2 copies of the report of the Borough Rate Committee 1850 regarding College and University of Cambridge
DescriptionReport gives history of the properties owned by 16 colleges and university since 1620 to 13 parishes. There were 17 parishes, 9 regions houses and the white canons and no colleges. University set up 1231 with scholars in local (rateable) accommodation, opinion parishes, supine in exerting rights. Recommend repeat of existing Act.
