DescriptionThis series relates to ongoing disputes between the Corporation and the University in particular the seventeen individual disputes which became the framework of the Cambridge Award Act, 1856 and the disputes over rates which informed discussions on the Cambridge Improvement bill, 1874 and the 1877 valuation bill. This series also contains a series of papers which relate to a compensation case between Trinity and the Corporation over the compulsory purchase of property in Market Hill.
