DescriptionThe draft minutes list the commissioners present at meetings and detail issues discussed relating to the paving, cleansing, and lighting of Cambridge, the widening of streets and the removal of obstructions. Issues often included the election of officers, the appointment of tradesmen and suppliers, appointment of committees and outlines of reports heard, raising finance, collection of rates, payment of bills, publication of advertisements in the newspapers, surveys and inspections to be carried out and specific details of the location of new lamps, the laying of new paving and drains and permissions granted for works to property.

As draft minutes they include corrections and annotations.

The agendas outline issues to be discussed at forthcoming meetings.
