TitleTreasurer's records
DescriptionThe treasurer was responsible for paying money authorised by five or more Commissioners, keeping accurate records of income and expenditure, having the accounts audited once a year and presenting them to the Commissioners after the audit. The first treasurer, Thomas Bond, was appointed at the initial meeting on 9 Jun 1788 and reappointed on 2 Jul 1794 following the amended bill.

The collector of rates, first appointed on 18 Jun 1788 (Richard Stimson) was responsible for collecting the rates and putting them into the hands of the treasurer.
