TitleCambridge Improvement Commissioners versus the Tramways Company
DescriptionCase relating to the Tramways Company's failure to repair relevant pavements. Two copies of notice issued to Tramways Company, cover sheet, list of complainants' costs, telegram memorandum between Tramway manager and Mountsorrel Granite requesting additional materials for repairs. Letter from the Tramways Company dated 5 Jan 1883 requesting that they be allowed to make temporary repairs until granite can be obtained. Court notes from 23 Jan 1883 and letter from 24 Jan 1883, from W. H. Macauley of Mountsorrel Granite, confirming the supply problems to W. J. Bowyer, surveyor for the Cambridge Improvement Commissioners.
