For the first meeting, on 19 May 1981, reports were received from the following committees:
County Farms committee
Education committee
Highways and Transportation committee
Leisure and amenities committee
Planning committee
Police committee
Policy and resources committee
Public protection committee
Social services committee
The meeting includes the County Returning Officer's return for the May 1981 election.

The new administration restructured the committees to reduce their number. From the 21 July 1981 meeting onwards reports were received from:
Education committee (took over some former Leisure and Amenities committee responsibilities, inlcuding Libraries and Museums)
Land and buildings committee (including County Farms)
Police committee
Policy committee (with sub-committees for Resources and Planning; the Record Office reported to the Resources sub-committee)
Public protection committee
Social Services committee
Transportation committee

The pages in this volume have been consecutively numbered (the numbering starts again at 1 from the May 1982 meeting) but there is no index.
