DescriptionThis reported to the Highways and Transportation Committee 1973-1981 (see CC7/M10/1) and then to the Transportation Committee 1981-1989 (CC7/M10/3). It considered all matters relating to road safety and to determine requests for school crossing patrols. Its membership included representatives from the County Council and all District and City Councils within the county. The last meeting of the sub-committee was in December 1984 and, as the minutes of the last meeting are unsigned, it was presumably dissolved in early 1985.
