DescriptionThe sub-committee reported to the Education Committee (CC7/M5/1). It dealt with all matters relating to higher, further, secondary and community education, including the careers advisory service, in so far as those matters were not already dealt with by the Finance and Buildings sub-committee (see CC7/M5/4) or by the Primary and Special Purposes sub-committee (see CC7/M5/2). It was dissolved in May 1985, when the Education Committee entirely restructured its sub-committee arrangements.
