| Description | This series comprises all committees with an emergency services and/or public protection theme for the years 1973-2001 and from 2014 onwards. During the period 2001-2014 the County Council used Scrutiny Committees, which had different powers from their predecessor and successor committees; their records, if we have any, will be found alongside other Scrutiny committees in CC7/M13.
Please note that the County Council's 'Emergency Committee' is unrelated to emergency services; please see CC7/M1/6.
