DescriptionThis reported to the Education Committee (see CC7/M5/1). It was established to provide the necessary political guidance on service development for libraries and the arts, and to consider any changes which might be brought about by the Local Government and Housing Bill which was then before Parliament. In 1991 it was expanded to include the museum sector, and it was renamed the Libraries Arts and Museums Service Advisory Group (see CC7/M8/9).
