DescriptionThis reported to the Education Committee (see CC7/M5/1). It replaced the Libraries and Arts Service Advisory Group (see CC7/M8/8) and it provided an appropriate Council forum for consideration of museum issues, something which had not existed since 1989 (see CC7/M8/4). Its purpose was to provide the necessary political guidance on service development for libraries, museums and the arts.
