DescriptionThis committee exercised all the powers and duties of the County Council (1) under any enactment relating to a local planning authority, (2) concerning historic buildings, and (3) relating to Town Development. The committee was dissolved in 1981 and replaced by the Planning and Research Sub-Committee (see CC7/M9/2) and the Development Control Panel (see CC7/M9/4), both of which reported to the Policy Committee (see CC7/M2/12).
