Description(1) John Cotton, London, Esq. (2) Thomas Cotton, Steeple Gidding, gent. nephew to (1) and John Cotton, son of Thomas. (1) agrees with (2) That messuages, lands etc. - 18a. and 60a. purchased by (1) from Henry and John Bedell by indenture of 13 Nov. inst. and lying in Steeple Gidding and Hamerton, shall be to use of (1) for life, then to Thomas Cotton for life, then to John Cotton, son of Thomas, and his heirs for ever. Provided that if (1) pays either of (2) 1/- at the house of (1)'s sister, Jane Cotton, at H'don and declares by writing his intention to change his mind, they shall be to the use of (1) and his heirs for ever.
