TitleDeed to Declare Uses of Trust
Description(1) Thomas Cotton, Gidding Abbotts, Esq., and John Cotton, gent, son and heir of said Thomas Cotton. (2) Sir Thomas Cotton, Sawtry, Bart., Sir Capell Bedell, Hamerton, Bart. Robert Bernard, Huntingdon, Esq. (3) Sir Robert Wolseley, Wolseley, Staffs, Bart. Sir Robert Pointz, Iron Acton, Glos., K.B. William Bierly, Greyes Inn, Middx, Esq. Recites Indenture of even date declaring the uses of divers lands and tenements in Gidding A. to be to the use of (2) during the life of Thomas Cotton, Esq., and other lands and tenements in Gidding A. to the use of (2) during the lives of Thomas C. and Mary his wife, and the survivor of them; and other lands and tenements in Abbotts to the use of (3) during the life of Frances, the now wife of John C. Now it is the meaning of the said Indenture that lands expressed to be to the use of (2) during the life of the said Thomas C. shall be in trust for the use of the said Thomas C., Esq., during his life; And the lands expressed to be to the use of (2) during the lives of the said Thomas C. and Marie his wife and the survivor of them, shall be in trust for the use of the said Thomas C. for life and after his death, for the use and the jointure of the said Mary for life. And the lands expressed to be to the uses of (3) during the life of the said Frances, shall be in trust for the use and the jointure of the said Frances for life and these last lands in trust to the purposes in the said Indenture expressed.
