Description(1) Sir John Cotton, Conington, Bart. (2) Robert Cotton, Gidding, Esq. Recites: (i) Deed to Lead Uses of Recovery of 28 May, 1675. (ii) Sir John Cotton by his will of 11 Aug. 1701 disposing of the £6,000 raised. (iii) Sir John Cotton by will bequeathing Manor of Auconbury Weston and all lands in Aukenbury to (2) his son, Sir Miles Heneage, Hatton Garden and John Proby, Elton, Esq., and heirs forever in trust to sell, pay his debts. and then pay £2,000 to his grandson, Thomas C. (iv) Said Thomas Cotton has assigned said £2,000 to (1) and he has assigned it with interest to (2). Now for 5/- from (1) to (2), (2) to (1) releases (1) and all his lands from said £2,000.
